Oxford Resident Scores “New York Giants 2nd Chance Drawing” First PrizeDespite playing in a miserable downpour, the New York Giants® 20-6 victory over the Washington Redskins at MetLife Stadium on December 29 was a spectacular one—especially for Robert Hamila, Sr. of Oxford. Hamila, along with his son, had the benefit of watching the game from the comfort of Club Level seating as a First Prize package winner in the CT Lottery’s “New York Giants” 2nd Chance drawing held on October 30.
“It was raining, but we were warm and dry in the Club lounge. We’re big Giants fans, so it was great,” Hamila told Lottery officials. “The last time I went to a Giants game was at the Yale Bowl with my father—that was at least 35 years ago.”
As one of the ten First Prize winners selected, Hamila received two Club Level tickets, two Pre-Game Field Passes, one Parking Pass, and $500 in cash. Ten additional Second Prize packages were also awarded, which included two General Admission tickets, one Parking Pass and $100 in cash. Each winner was selected at random from the 39,980 2nd Chance drawing entries received.
The New York Giants instant game offers players two ways to win a prize—scratch and win up to $50,000 instantly on the game ticket, or by entering non-winning tickets into a 2nd Chance drawing.
Players are encouraged to enter their non-winning New York Giants instant tickets online, by mail, or by hand delivery to CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill.
The odds of winning a prize in the New York Giants 2nd Chance drawing vary based on the total number of eligible entries received.
The winning names, stories and photos on this website are just a small number of the thousands who claim prizes. The fact is, people win every day with the CT Lottery! Below is a list of recently claimed prizes of $10,000 or more. Please Note: When a winning scratch ticket is validated through a Lottery Retailer's terminal, the remaining number of unclaimed prizes for that prize level is automatically updated reflecting one less prize. Until the individual or group presents their winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown.
