Ellington Retailer Sells $1,000,000 Prize-Winning Powerball Ticket for October 26 DrawingOctober 27, 2022 – While no one hit the Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, Oct. 26, drawing, one lucky Connecticut player matched the first five numbers drawn and won $1,000,000 on a winning ticket purchased at Big Y Ellington Express #115 at 140 West Road in Ellington.
The winning Powerball numbers for October 26 were, 19 - 36 - 37 - 46 - 56. The Powerball number was 24, and the Power Play® multiplier was 2.
Overall, there were 33,018 winning tickets sold in Connecticut for last night’s drawing. Players for the Oct. 26 drawing have 180 calendar days or until April 24, 2023, to claim their winning tickets.
