(UPDATE) Connecticut's Lottery Players Twice "Lucky" This Week!
Connecticut’s Lottery players have been very “Lucky” this week. For the second time in four days, a top prize ticket worth an incredible $1,000 a day for life to its owner has been sold in Connecticut, as part of the “Lucky for Life
” draw game, the newest lottery game that can be purchased in all six of the New England states.
The Monday, April 30, 2012 Lucky for Life drawing delivered a lifetime lottery prize of $1,000 a day, every day for life, to one very lucky CT Lottery player. The top prize Lucky for Life ticket claimed was purchased at Sam’s Mini Mart, located at 867 Jones Hill Road in West Haven.
It happened AGAIN on May 3, just one drawing and 72 hours later, when a second CT Lottery player beat the odds and won "Lucky's" top prize of $1,000 a day, every day, for the rest of his or her life.
The identity of the May 3 top prize winner is unknown at this time. The winning ticket was sold in Fairfield County.
The winning combination drawn Thursday, May 3, 2012 was: 03-08-12-29-37, with the Lucky Ball of 17.

Paid on a weekly basis, the winners from both the April 30 and May 3 drawings will each receive $7,000 EVERY week (pre-taxes) from the CT Lottery for as long as he or she lives.
