7-Eleven Store in Milford Sells "Set For Life" Top PrizeThe 7-Eleven Store at 517 Boston Post Road in Milford helped create another CT Lottery millionaire by selling Branford resident Brian Cahill a top prize winning “Set For Life 2nd Edition” instant ticket worth $100,000 a year, every year, for the rest of his life!  The final value of the Set For Life 2nd Edition top prize is based on a winner's longevity, with a guaranteed minimum payout of $2,000,000.

Lottery retailers since March, 2006, 7-Eleven store owners Ali and Karin Manzar were elated about Cahill’s win.  “I told (Cahill) that if he really wanted to win big, he should play Set For Life, and he did.  I actually handed him the winning ticket!” Ali said.

Manzur’s luck in selling Cahill his top prize ticket earned him a $20,000 selling bonus today, which was presented to Manzur and his family by Diane Patterson, VP of Sales and Marketing for the CT Lottery.

“We are so pleased to present Ali and Karin their selling bonus check. The CT Lottery values our relationship with each of our 2,600 retailers. Their continued commitment helped Lottery sales to exceed $1 billion this year, making it the first time in Lottery history that a billion-dollar sales level has been reached”, said Patterson. “Because of the efforts of all of our retailers, CT Lottery returned a record $289.3 million to the General Fund this year.”
